Since 2000, ENTRENA has been the institutional contractor for the Office of the Commissioner of Major League Baseball in the Dominican Republic. Our role is to support this first overseas MLB office in its efforts to globalize the industry of professional baseball. We assist in the implementation of the three office objectives (enhance teams’ investment, improve regulation, and community programs).
Baseball Major League Baseball (MLB)
ENTRENA provides consulting and problem solving in many initiatives such as staff hiring and training, economic impact studies of MLB investment in the DR, government relations, player education, academy management, presentations for teams, public service announcements (PSAs), and community outreach, including the MLB-DDA, Baseball Tomorrow Fund, and RBI programs.
Since 1995, ENTRENA has provided specialized services in the operation of their player development complex located in the Dominican Republic. Support covers administrative, legal, player, enrichment, and community services.
San Diego Padres
Between 2005 and 2009, ENTRENA was contracted by the San Diego Padres to assist in the construction of their new player development complex in the DR and the development of their community programs.
