WHAT WE DO
The cornerstone of future advancement, Entrena understands the vital need for quality education to create a brighter future for the Dominican Republic and Latin America. Based in the scientifically proven accelerated learning methodology, Quantum Learning©, Entrena seeks to train young people and professionals alike to advance toward a better future.
The understanding of various cultures and languages is a necessary skill in the increasingly global society in which we live. Entrena began in 1982 training US Peace Corps volunteers in Spanish and Dominican culture, and continues to do so not only with visitors to our country, but also with local Dominican students and professional as well.
The Dominican Republic is a microcosm of Latin America, representing many educational, social, and environmental issues found throughout the continent. Our study, travel and service learning trips allow visitors to not only learn from and take part in the work being done here, but also enjoy all the beauty the country has to offer.
While baseball is the national pastime of the US, it is the national passion of the DR. Entrena has played a key role in the development of the baseball industry in the Dominican Republic. We provide services in management oversight of team academies, human resources, planning for academy construction, player education, impact studies, and community outreach projects. Clients include MLB, MLBPA, Oakland Athletics, New York Mets, San Diego Padres, San Francisco Giants, and Latino Baseball Hall of Fame.
